Rellytech Professional Drink Maker Review

Pros:
Works great for making slushies. Didn’t require any temp adjustments or anything. Used it for refrigerated lemonade and worked like a dream.
Made some ice cream with it…a few times. It came out really good. Kind of addictingly good actually. (I did not use the recipes it came with.)

Cons:
Doesn’t hold that much fluid. The ice cream fluid capacity is only 34 ounces. Which I don’t understand because it really didn’t seem to increase mass during the freezing process.
Self cleaning function is not very cleaning. It doesn’t heat the water or anything. It just swishes whatever water is in it around for three minutes.
I have some concerns about the design of the handle of the dispenser. In order to clean up inside of it you have to keep removing the handle and it doesn’t really seem like it is set up to keep being removed like that and I’m concerned about how well its going to hold up in the long run.

Comments:
I found that when making ice cream the temperature needs to be at a lower temp to get the ice cream to properly thicken. But not every time. I’m not sure what the determining factor there is.
Makes approximately 4- 12 ounce cups of ice cream per batch. With the recipe I used. I have filled it above the ice cream line with liquid and so far everything has still worked no problem.
